The New Ware 1:72 Mask MiG-25RB EXPERT is a set of machine die-cut kabuki masks for models of the reconnaissance MiG-25RB Foxbat. The EXPERT level masks the glazing from both sides and the landing gear wheels. Target kit: ICM 72173.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model but a set of self-adhesive masking templates from the manufacturer New Ware for plastic models of the MiG-25RB reconnaissance-bomber aircraft in 1:72 scale. The masks are machine die-cut to close tolerances from kabuki paper, which follows shapes well and comes off after spraying with no adhesive residue. The EXPERT level is the most complete one: it holds masking for the cockpit frames on the outer and the inner side of the glazing (double-sided masking, known as TFace), the other clear parts and the landing gear wheels. The masks are cut for the ICM 72173 kit.
The MiG-25 (NATO reporting name Foxbat) was a Soviet high-speed aircraft built largely of steel, capable of flight at great altitude and high speed. The RB version served for reconnaissance and bombing. The characteristic angular canopy is far easier to paint with accurate masks.
This is an accessory for painting a model, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
