MiG-21MF - Stencils 1:72 (HGW, wet transfers)

The set brings the technical lettering and the warning and maintenance markings, the stencils, for a model of the MiG-21MF supersonic fighter in 1:72 scale. These are wet transfers from the Czech maker HGW. After application no carrier varnish film is left; only the print itself stays on the surface, so the markings look as if they had been printed straight into the paint, without the glossy step typical of ordinary decals.

Use

• Dip the transfer briefly in warm water and wait until it releases from the backing paper.
• Transfer it to the surface, squeeze the water out gently from underneath and leave it to dry for 2 to 3 hours.
• Then peel the carrier foil away carefully and wash the adhesive residue off with water.
• The best results come on a smooth, ideally semi-gloss base.
