About product

Masking set MiG-19S / Shenyang J-6 / F-6 (1:72, Peewit)

This is not an aircraft model, but a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the cockpit glazing of the Soviet MiG-19S supersonic fighter, or rather of its Chinese license version Shenyang J-6 and the export designation F-6, in 1:72 scale. The masks from the Czech maker Peewit are die-cut from thin masking tape and follow the frames of the canopy and the windscreen exactly.

Use

  • Clean and degrease the glazing.
  • Lay the masks precisely on the frames of the cockpit and press them down firmly.
  • Cover the surroundings and lay the paint on in thin coats with an airbrush.
  • Take the masks off once dry and you get sharp, straight frames.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of Cold War jet fighters in 1:72 scale.
  • Modelers who want cleanly painted cockpit frames.
  • Anyone who values the time saved on masking.

The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
