This set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale is intended for a model of the Japanese A6M2-N Rufe floatplane fighter. The subject is the floatplanes themselves. It is not a kit but an accessory that gives a model authentic markings.
The A6M2-N Rufe was the floatplane variant of the Zero fighter: it received a large central float under the fuselage and two smaller auxiliary floats under the wings. It served where there were no concrete runways, defending anchorages and flying escort duties over the sea.
The decals are applied by the wet method onto a smooth gloss coat. Coat the surface with gloss varnish, release the decal in water, position it and, once dry, go over it with a matte varnish. A softener makes it easier to settle on a broken-up surface.
