Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Roden represents the German Opel Blitz Omnibus bus of the W39 type in its late Second World War form. The model is built from plastic parts, and decals and an illustrated instruction sheet are included. Check the exact contents of the box and the parts count against the particular edition.
The Opel Blitz Omnibus of the W39 type with a Ludewig body was a German bus built on the chassis of the well-known three-ton Opel Blitz truck. Series production ran at the Ludewig works in Essen from roughly 1939 to 1943. The vehicles served on every front to carry officers, as ambulances or for signals and radio equipment. From 1941 the body was modified: among other things the spare wheel was moved to a recess on the left side.
We recommend finishing the body and the interior before you close them up. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement, apply a primer and spray the paints with an airbrush. Mask the glazing and lay the paints down in thin coats; wear can be brought out with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
