HGW 1:72 P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop – raised rivets are wet rivet transfers for the version with the bubble canopy.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of raised rivets in 1:72 scale for a model of the American fighter P-47D Thunderbolt in the Bubbletop version, that is with the bubble canopy open to the rear. These are wet rivet transfers with raised rivets that are applied with water and create fine raised riveting. Even in a small scale they give the surface a realistic relief that is otherwise hard to reach. It is not a kit and not ordinary markings.
The P-47D Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War with a radial engine. The Bubbletop version received a bubble canopy, which improved the pilot's view to the rear. The Thunderbolt stood out for its toughness and the weight of armament it could carry.
Clean the surface and prepare it with gloss varnish. Apply the transfers like wet decals, press them down and let them dry. Then even the area out with matte varnish so that the rivets blend naturally into the surface. In 1:72 scale, work with particular care.
This is a modeling accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
