This is the second part of the set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale with the markings of the Soviet fighter biplane the Polikarpov I-153 Chaika in Finnish service during the Second World War. The set brings further marking variants as a supplement to the first series. It is not a kit: it holds decals only, for a painted model of the I-153 of the corresponding scale.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika was a Soviet single-seat biplane fighter with retractable landing gear. Finland operated some of these machines in its own service. This second part of the decals widens the choice of period national insignia and personal markings for the Finnish treatment.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish, which prevents the edges from going dull. Once they have dried, overcoat with a matte or semi-gloss varnish A decal softener helps them settle into engraved lines and onto the rounded surfaces of the biplane.
The set holds decals only. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
