This injection-molded plastic kit from Dragon depicts the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf.H version in 1:72 scale, complete with the Schürzen side armor skirts. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set of plastic parts with a decal sheet, and it offers the fine detail typical of the smaller scale.
The Panzer IV was the backbone of the German armored forces throughout the Second World War. The Ausf.H version was among the most widespread and introduced, among other things, the Schürzen hull and turret armor skirts as protection against anti-tank rifles and shaped-charge ammunition. It was deployed on every front from 1943 onward.
In 1:72 scale take care to cut the small parts away cleanly. Assemble the running gear and the hull first, and only then attach the Schürzen skirts. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and use washes and pigments for dust effects when weathering. Lay the German schemes over an even base coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
