A set of laser-cut reeds from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, from its range of scenic accessories. The finely cut stems faithfully imitate the reeds and rushes that grow by water. It is not a kit but an accessory for bringing life to dioramas, display cases and scenes with a water surface or wetland.
The stems are picked out of the sheet, gathered into clumps and glued onto the diorama. Reeds suit the edges of banks, ponds, rivers and marshes, and also cover the transition between a stretch of water and the ground. The height and density of the growth are up to the modeler and the scene.
Glue the stems with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a natural look, combine stems of different lengths and gather them into irregular clumps. The shade can be fine-tuned with model paints, from fresh green to the dry ocher of reeds past their flowering.
This is an accessory material, not a model. Glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
