An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-26TB ammunition carrier in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby. The vehicle came about on the proven chassis of the T-26 light tank and, in place of a turret, it carries a stowage space for moving ammunition and supplies to the combat units. The package holds plastic parts, soft (one-piece) tracks and assembly instructions.
The T-26 was the most widespread Soviet light tank of the interwar period, based on the British Vickers pattern built under license. Its reliable chassis became the basis for a whole range of derived vehicles. The T-26TB ammunition and supply carrier served to bring rounds and materiel up to the tank units and carried only light defensive armament.
Assemble and weather the running gear and the one-piece tracks before fitting them to the hull. An airbrush suits the Soviet green; you will bring the stowage space and the underside of the vehicle to life with washes, edge rubbing and dust pigments. The vehicle makes a rewarding subject for a supply diorama.
