An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from UM that allows one of two variants derived from the Soviet T-26 light tank to be built: the T-26T armored tractor or the T-26 TN reconnaissance and observation vehicle. The set contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The higher proportion of parts puts the model among the more demanding ones.
The T-26 was a Soviet light tank of the 1930s, itself derived from the British Vickers Model E. A number of special versions arose on its chassis. The T-26T was an armored artillery tractor without a turret, intended for towing guns and carrying their crews. The T-26 TN served as a reconnaissance and observation vehicle. Both versions used the proven running gear of the basic tank.
Finish the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. Work carefully with the photo-etched parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Treat the surface with a primer, paint with an airbrush in Soviet green shades and bring out the running gear with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
