A collector model that arrives assembled and painted from the factory, markings included. It is not a kit: you need no glue, paints, decals or tools and you can place the aircraft straight into a display case. That is exactly what sets the Easy Model range apart from ordinary plastic kits of the same scale.
The North American T-6 Texan is one of the most widespread trainers in the history of aviation. It is a single-engine low-wing monoplane with a radial engine and a two-seat tandem cockpit, used for advanced pilot training. The T-6G version is a postwar modernization with a revised cockpit, equipment and fuel system. The type served in dozens of countries, often long after the end of the Second World War, and besides training it was used in some air arms for observation and auxiliary duties as well.
This example is rewarding for collectors who build what are called type series, that is the same aircraft in the colors of different countries. Side by side in a display case it then stands out how differently the same design looks in another national scheme and with other markings. In 1:72 scale such a series fits even on a smaller shelf and looks coherent, because every example has identical factory workmanship.
Hold the model by the fuselage, not by the propeller, the landing gear or the antennas. Remove the dust from the wings and the canopy with a soft brush rather than a cloth. The clear canopy is sensitive to chemicals and to sunlight, so place the display case away from a window and away from heating.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. It is not a kit; nothing is glued or painted.
