A diorama accessory in 1:72 scale by the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model: it is a towing cable set to improve a kit of the Pz.Kpfw.III tank in the versions Ausf.A-F, K and M-N. It contains a copper rope and cast resin end eyes; it is tailored to these subversions and differs from the set for the G-J and L versions.
Steel towing cables were part of the standard equipment of German tanks; they served to recover a bogged-down vehicle and were carried fixed to the hull and the fenders. The stowage and the fittings differed between the individual versions of the Panzer III, which is why Eureka XXL offers separate sets for the early and the later variants.
Shape the copper rope into a natural sag and glue both the eyes and the rope with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal, apply primer and fine-tune the steel shade with a dark color, light rust and a wash in the fittings.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
