Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German experimental VK 36.01(H) heavy tank in 1:72 scale from Armory. According to the manufacturer the box contains photo-etched parts and two types of turret, and the tracks are done as link-and-length. It is an interesting subject from the development line that led to the Tiger tank.
The VK 36.01(H) was a German experimental heavy tank developed by Henschel at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s as part of a series of projects looking for a new heavy tank. The vehicle stayed at the prototype stage and never reached production, yet it represents an important intermediate step in the development whose experience led to the later Tiger. For a modeler it is an unusual and rarely seen type.
Assemble the link-and-length tracks patiently and let them dry a little before painting. Finish the running gear before closing the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. A base coat of primer will unify the surface, and final washes and dust pigments will give the prototype a realistic patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
