Bushman in 1:9 scale is an unpainted collector figure in resin from the Vertigo miniatures brand, intended for more experienced modelers and figure painters. It is not a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector figure in 1:9 scale cast in resin. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, a basis for your own painting work rather than a finished decorative piece. The larger scale gives room for detail that is lost in ordinary modeling scales: the face, the hands and the texture of the surface can be worked out to a degree small figures do not allow.
Resin is worked differently from plastic. First wash the parts in warm water with detergent, so that the remains of mold release agent are removed; without that the paint does not hold and peels off. Cut the casting blocks and pour stubs off with a saw or a cutter, and never break them off. Do the sanding wet and with protection for your airways; resin dust is not to be inhaled. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue alone, as plastic cement has no effect on resin. Fill and sand the seams, otherwise they will stand out under the paint.
The foundation is a thin coat of primer, ideally with an airbrush or a spray can; on bare resin without primer the paint does not hold. Skin is painted in thin translucent coats from the middle tonality toward the lights and shadows, whereas fabric is built from a dark base upward. Acrylics offer quick drying and certainty, oil paints a long blending of transitions; the two can be combined, provided that you leave enough time between coats. Finally, unify the surface with matte varnish and leave gloss only where it belongs: the eyes, metal, wet areas.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. When sanding resin, work wet and protect your airways.
