A pack from the Czech maker Eduard of the LööKplus range, put together for the OV-10A model in 1:48 scale. It is not one set but several accessories sold together and tuned to the same model; it covers more places on the model than a single set does. The exact make-up is always on the box and in the instructions supplied; what you buy is a combination, not a single part.
The point of the range is to settle, in one purchase, the places where a plastic kit loses most: the cockpit area with its instrument equipment and the additional parts that change the look of the finished model without any intervention in the structure. The advantage over putting the accessories together one by one is the certainty that the components are made for the same model.
The procedure differs according to the kind of parts in the bundle. Metal and resin parts rendered in color are not repainted, or you lose the main benefit of the set. Wash resin clean of mold release agent residue and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue, ideally the gel kind, which gives time to settle it. Bend photo-etched parts in one movement and sand off the plastic original beneath them, so that the part seats. On parts reaching into the cockpit, try the assembly dry before the fuselage is glued, so that the halves close up properly afterward.
This is a set of accessories, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
