A set of historical figures, 1:72 Stradioti, 16th century, set 2, from the maker Red Box: light cavalry, the second separately sold part.
Responsibility details are not available.
Mounted historical figures in 1:72 scale from the maker Red Box. The set carries the designation Set 2 in its name and complements the set 1 of the same name, which is sold separately. Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The subject is light cavalry of the 16th century. Two sets on the same subject make sense above all when you are building a larger mounted group and want to avoid repeating identical stances side by side. The two sets are told apart by the number stated in the name, so order according to that.
A mounted figure has a high center of gravity and a small mating surface, so it tips over easily. The surest solution is a pin: drill a hole into the hooves with a fine drill, glue a piece of wire into it and pass that through the base. The joint is then held not only by glue but also mechanically. Check the vertical while you do it; a rider leaning barely perceptibly backward is more conspicuous in a finished scene than a mistake in the color. Once dry, cover the wire at the base with terrain compound.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, wire and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
