A set of decals complemented by masking templates from the maker Kits-World in the large 1:24 scale. This is not a kit but an accessory with equipment for building particular machines of the fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc. The waterslide decals offer national as well as personal markings, and the masking templates make spraying the national insignia and the lettering easier. At a large scale even small details of the markings stand out.
The Spitfire Mk.IX was one of the most successful guises of the legendary British fighter, powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger. The set includes, among others, a machine of an American fighter squadron deployed over the Mediterranean in 1944 and a machine of a Canadian squadron from 1942, that is colorful and attractive camouflage schemes.
Transfer the decals onto a well-dried gloss varnish, so that they do not silver, and work them into the details with a softener; go over them with varnish at the end. Stick the masks onto a clean, degreased surface and spray in thin layers, so that no paint runs under the edge.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
