Full-color three-dimensional safety belts for the seats of models of the F-4 Phantom II in the American guise, 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Safety belts are among the first things looked at on an open cockpit. From a kit they tend to be suggested only as flat relief on the seat, whereas these elements are three-dimensional and in full color, so the strap, the fittings and the buckles look like separate parts, and at 1:32 scale the cockpit is clearly visible. The set is intended for models of the aircraft F-4 Phantom II in the American guise, that is for the machines of the US Air Force as well as the US Navy.
Before applying them, check in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive. The procedure for application differs between the individual lines, so do not set to work before you have checked the procedure. Wash and degrease the surface of the seat and the shell beforehand, as nothing holds on a greasy surface. Separate the elements one by one with a sharp blade or tweezers with fine points and lay them dry until you are sure they fit; only then seat them permanently. The loose ends of the straps can be carefully bent over the edge of the seat, so that a belt does not look like a stuck-on label. Until the elements hold firmly, do not spray anything onto the cockpit; apply any matte varnish in a thin layer and try it on an offcut first.
The set suits modelers who are building a Phantom with an open canopy and want to have the cockpit finished without assembling photo-etched belts, as well as those who want to bring the seats to life quickly and without painting small parts.
A model of the aircraft, the seats, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
