A full-color decal with a three-dimensional layer from the maker Kits-World for the instrument panel of a Starfighter kit in 1:32 scale. According to the name it covers the F-104A and F-104C versions in the variant with the display off. The instruments have printed scales and stand out above the base, so the panel comes across as three-dimensional even seen from close up, and in a large scale that is decisive.
The F-104 Starfighter is a single-seat supersonic aircraft with a very slender fuselage and a short thin wing, deployed in the interceptor as well as the strike role. The A and C versions belong among the early American variants. The cockpit matches the time it came from: the instrument panel is fitted with round instruments arranged in several rows, and electronics in the present sense are absent. What decides the resulting impression, then, is the legibility of the individual dials.

Let the panel dry through thoroughly. Apply the matte varnish to the surroundings and leave the glasses of the instruments glossy. The cockpit of the Starfighter is narrow and deep, so it pays off to finish the panel and let it cure before you glue the halves of the fuselage; after that the space is hard to reach into.
