Kits-World 1:32 Heinkel He-111P-1 3D full-color Instrument Panel is a full-color three-dimensional instrument panel printed on decal paper.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory from the maker Kits-World intended for the cockpit of a model in 1:32 scale. The instrument panel is printed in full color on decal paper and has a three-dimensional structure, so once applied it does not come across as a flat print. It is transferred into a model by the procedure for a decal, not by gluing a part.
The layout of the instruments differs between the individual versions of the same type, and precisely for that reason the designation of the version in the name of the product is the most important distinguishing detail. A panel for one version looks convincing on another only until someone compares it with a drawing. Several instrument panels exist for the same type of aircraft; choose according to the exact designation and the part number, not according to a similar illustration.
The design belongs exactly on the surface of the cast panel, not on the frame around it. First level the raised dials in the kit by sanding; on an uneven surface a three-dimensional layer will not seat and a silvery rim will arise at the edge. The base has to be glossy. Soak the decal briefly in warm water, move it into place, push the water out from under it and only then add the softener, and that drop by drop: a thick layer bears it worse than a thin classic decal. Once it is dry, go over the surroundings with a matte varnish and leave the glasses of the instruments glossy. Unify the neighboring surfaces of the interior with color and a fine accenting of the edges, so that they do not lose against the printed panel.
An accessory for a model. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
