Color decals with a raised relief for the instrument panels of the Tornado GR.4 in 1:48 scale. This particular version matches a machine with the upgrade designated TARDIS and has the screens shown as switched off, that is dark and without symbology. It is neither a model nor a resin cockpit but an accessory to the parts from the kit.
The instrumentation of the Tornado changed during its service and Kits-World makes panels for this type in several variants that differ both in the upgrade standard and in the state of the displays. The sets have very similar names and it is the note in brackets that tells them apart. Before ordering, make sure which machine and which period you are building and match the designation of the set to it; the differences between the variants lie in the layout of the panel, not only in the color.
The front and rear cockpits have different panels, so do not mix the decals up and dry-fit each one first. Sand the parts smooth, spray them with a dark base and overcoat with gloss varnish; that order is necessary with relief decals, because without the gloss interlayer the film will silver. Settle the decal on water, align it and blot the water away. Dose the softener drop by drop, let it work by itself and leave the decal undisturbed for at least 45 minutes. Matte varnish goes onto the panel surface at the end; leave out the instrument glazing and the screen bezels so that they keep their gloss even with the displays switched off.
The box holds decals only. It does not include the kit, paints, varnish or decal softener.
