A printed display base for a 1:48 model, PAG-14 pre-stressed concrete slabs, from the early 1970s to the present day, in the format 675 x 675 mm.
Responsibility details are not available.
A large-format printed sheet for use under a finished model. The motif is a paved surface of PAG-14 pre-stressed concrete slabs. The name gives an area of use covering the Soviet Union and Russia, the Warsaw Pact states and the People's Republic of China, and a time span from the early 1970s to the present day. Format 675 x 675 mm.
While other bases claim a single decade or twenty years, this one covers roughly half a century. In practice that means it will hardly restrict you in choosing a subject and one base will serve under several different models in turn. The other side of the same coin: the base gives the scene no indication of time. The whole dating and the allegiance are carried by the machine, by its type, its paint scheme and its markings. If you are building a series of models from different decades, this surface will cover them all; if you want to date a scene firmly, the model has to do that itself.
For modelers in 1:48 scale who need a universally usable but technically specific airfield surface for machines from the 1970s up to today.
The base is a printed sheet intended for use under a model. The model, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
