A printed large-format sheet with four individual parking areas. It is neither a kit nor a decal but a base on which a finished model is stood. The printed area measures 675 x 675 mm and is prepared for 1:48 scale.
Unlike bases tied to one particular station, this motif is deliberately general. It consists of four single parking areas which, according to the manufacturer, suit the period from the First World War onwards. That is exactly why it is one of the most versatile bases in the range, usable across eras and countries.
Four stands on an area of 675 x 675 mm mean that each takes up roughly a third of the side of the sheet. That suits smaller single-engine machines in 1:48, with which more than one position can really be occupied at a time. With a larger aircraft, by contrast, expect to use one stand while the remaining three serve as free space around it. The base can of course be used for a single model as well, in which case the division of the area works as a compositional guide to where to put it. A side of 675 mm corresponds in 1:48 scale to roughly thirty-two meters of real area, so you need only measure the footprint of the finished model and compare it with the size of one stand.
