Kits-World 1:48 Frying Pan type dispersal 150 feet across is a printed display base 1013 x 675 mm showing a circular British-type dispersal.
Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet from the Kits-World range of bases shows not a particular airfield but a type of surface: a circular dispersal 150 feet across of the kind used at British stations. It is a base for a finished model, not a kit and not a decal. Precisely because it is a type of stand and not one specific airfield, the base is usable for more subjects than motifs tied to a particular place.
The motif is a paved circular stand with the surface leading to it. The Frying Pan designation is the established name for the shape of such an area: a circle with a short connection that from above resembles a frying pan. The base therefore gives the model a logical place to stand: not an arbitrary piece of concrete but an area with a shape that has its purpose.
One hundred and fifty feet is roughly 46 meters. In 1:48 scale that works out at around 95 centimeters, and that is why this base is not square like most of the range but 1013 mm wide; otherwise the circle would not fit the format. The height stays 675 mm, the same as the other bases in the same scale, so the sheets line up in height and can be laid side by side into a longer strip. For a display case that means one thing only: you need over a meter of clear width.
This is a separate printed base. The model and the accessories are not part of the delivery.
