A printed display base for a 1:72 model, a First World War battlefield from Kits-World is a square sheet 450 x 450 mm with the motif of churned-up front-line ground.
Responsibility details are not available.
A square printed sheet 450 mm on a side which, instead of an airfield surface, shows the churned-up terrain of the Western Front. It serves as a base under a finished model; it is neither a kit, a decal nor a set of parts to be glued.
The motif works with what was characteristic of First World War terrain: plowed-up earth, craters from hits, remnants of vegetation and traces of vehicle movement. For a modeler that means a base with irregular artwork and muted coloring on which even a model in earth and green camouflage will stand out. The square format moreover does not force a single orientation; the model can be turned whichever way looks best.
The base is not tied to one kind of goods. In 1:72 scale it suits aircraft of the period, artillery, the first tracked vehicles and infantry figures alike. That is exactly why this motif tends to be more practical than a base tied to a particular station: you will use it for more models from the same period and need not build a separate scene for each.
This is a printed accessory for displaying and photographing a model. The model, figures and other accessories are not included in the package.
