It is not a kit of the vehicle but a replacement part: in a plastic model it swaps the wheels for castings with sharper detail. The set is cut for the Jagdpanzer 38 kit from the Tamiya company. The diameter and the seating of the hub match its running gear. According to the name the set is counted for one model.
The disc has sixteen rivets, distinct weld beads and a narrow outer hub collar. That is a different surface from the bolted wheels of the same range, so compare the version against a photograph of the vehicle you are building. The range holds a separate version for every target kit and for every version of the wheel, so watch for both at once when choosing: what the wheel looks like and whose box the set is cut for.
The Jagdpanzer 38 was a light tank destroyer on the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t), built from 1944. It had a steeply sloped armored hull, a 7.5 cm gun in a fixed mounting in the front of the hull and a crew of four. On each side it carried four large road wheels suspended in pairs on leaf springs. The wheels came in several versions during production, differing in the number and the type of fasteners on the disc and in the shape of the hub collar, and in 1:35 scale those differences are plain to see.
Wash the castings first in warm soapy water, otherwise the primer will not hold on the remains of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw rather than snapping them, and true the cut up with a file. Sand the resin wet and with protection for your airways. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, because ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin, and a primer goes on before painting. Fit the wheels on their axles before the tracks go on. A light dust or mud layer of pigment suits the final step.
The set is an accessory to a model, not a kit of the vehicle. It is supplied unpainted, and the glue, the paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
