This is not a kit of the vehicle but an add-on set of replacement road wheels for a model of the Jagdpanzer 38 tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. The wheels have sixteen rivets on the disc, visible welds and a narrow hub collar. The set is cut for the Jagdpanzer 38 kits from the manufacturer Thunder Model. According to the name the package is enough for one model.
The Jagdpanzer 38 was a light tank destroyer on a chassis derived from the Panzer 38(t). Its road wheels were made in more than one version: they differ in the number of bolts or rivets on the disc, in the presence of welds and in the width of the hub collar. On the finished model the running gear is visible from the side along the whole length of the hull, so eight wheels with the same but wrong disc are one of the first things an expert eye notices. That is why the manufacturer offers the wheels by variant and why the target kit has to be watched as well, so that the diameter and the seating on the suspension arms match.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water before gluing, so that any remains of the mold release agent from the mold come off. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a cutter, then true the mating surface up on abrasive paper laid on a flat support, so that the wheel does not sit crooked. Resin parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, because ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on them. Sand wet and protect your breathing. The wheels are best painted while still unfitted, when they are reachable from every side; it is worth setting the tires apart in a darker shade and only then adding dust and mud effects with pigment or a wash.
The set is an accessory to a model, not a stand-alone kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
