Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure from GasPatch in 1:48 scale capturing a single pilot of the Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet rocket fighter. It is a finely cast set for experienced modelers that will round out the cockpit or the scene around an Me 163 model in the popular 1:48 scale. The figure is rendered in period flying clothing with faithful details.
The Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet was a German rocket-powered interceptor used in the closing stages of the Second World War. It excelled in a steep climb and high speed, but its range was limited by the small supply of rocket fuel. Flying it was demanding and dangerous. The figure brings the appearance of the airman to life and suits a display scene as well as a smaller diorama.
This is a resin set for experienced modelers. Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay the base down with an airbrush, then the small details of the face and the equipment with a brush; the smaller scale calls for correspondingly finer strokes and shading.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
