The AMX-30B2 BRENNUS has its optics concentrated in the upper part of the turret, where on a model they show well from every angle. The set replaces the look of these devices with a clear face, so that they stop getting lost in the overall paint and gain a character of their own. The result is noticeable even to a viewer who knows nothing about the vehicle: the model simply looks more alive.
The set is prepared for the particular AMX-30B2 BRENNUS kit from the maker Tiger Model. The manufacturer also makes a set for the AMX-10RCR, built on kits from the same maker, if you are building more vehicles of this family.
Watch out for glue near the optics
Cyanoacrylate glues give off fumes as they set, and those settle on clear faces as a white film. The fogging can generally no longer be removed. If you do need to use glue, apply it in the smallest amount on the tip of a toothpick, lead it under the item and never across the face. It is safer to reach for the products commonly used for clear parts, which leave no haze as they dry, and to let the joint cure in a ventilated space.
