1:35 Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. F to H mantlet with the 3.7 cm gun is a turned barrel with the mantlet of the turret for a model of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III in 1:35 from the maker PANZER ART. An add-on to a kit, not a model.

The set replaces the mantlet of the turret and the thin barrel of the 3.7 cm gun on a Pz.Kpfw. III kit. It is with the small calibers that a plastic part is hardest to rid of its mold seam line and easiest to bend, so a turned barrel brings the greatest benefit here: a straight axis, a round cross section and an open muzzle. This is not a tank kit; the model is obtained separately.
The early versions of the Pz.Kpfw. III were armed with a 3.7 cm gun derived from the antitank gun of the same caliber. The weapon soon ceased to be enough and the tank went over to the 5 cm caliber, so the vehicles with the thin barrel belong to the opening stage of the type's service. On these machines the mantlet of the turret has a characteristic shape with two openings for machine guns beside the gun — a detail that on a model gives away at once which stage it is.
Cut the original plastic part off with a saw and level the surface. Wash the resin in warm water with dish soap, degrease the metal with alcohol and glue with super glue; a thin barrel needs a firm seating in order to hold its axis. After the primer, the base shade of the hull works well, completed with fine wear on the edges of the mantlet; leave the muzzle of the barrel matte and dark. The bottom of the mantlet takes light dusting with pigments.
The add-on is supplied unpainted and without a base kit. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
