A replacement gun shield and a turned gun barrel for the model of the tank destroyer designated Jagdpanther II in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Jagdpanther is a German tank destroyer of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Panther tank. Instead of a rotating turret it has a low sloped superstructure with the gun in the front plate, which gave it a low silhouette and well angled armor. This set is aimed at the model of the vehicle designated Jagdpanther II and changes the two most prominent parts of its front plate: the gun shield and the barrel itself.
A replacement gun shield and the barrel of the gun designated KwK 44, both for a model in 1:35 scale. The barrel is a turned part: it has an accurate round section along its whole length, there is nothing to glue or clean up along it and the muzzle is cleanly open. On a long barrel this shows at first glance, because the slightest asymmetry is visible from the side and from above.
Cut the original barrel off a little behind the root, level the cut surface and, if needed, carefully widen the opening in the superstructure with a round file so that the new part sits without strain. Try the set dry first and check that the barrel points straight when seen from the side and from above. Glue it with super glue and use only a little. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and apply a thin coat of primer; without it the paint holds poorly on a smooth surface.
The vehicle kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
