Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf.D version in the tropical configuration for the Afrika Korps, in 1:35 scale from AK Interactive. The kit focuses on service in North Africa and offers markings for vehicles operating in that theater.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.D was built from October 1939 and represented an early version of the Panzer IV with the short 7.5 cm gun. Some of the vehicles went through a tropical modification with improved cooling and dust filters for service in the desert. In North Africa they were used by the units of the German Afrika Korps.
Finish the running gear and the lower part of the hull first. Shades of yellow and gray suit the desert camouflage; for the patina use washes and pigments that evoke the dusty environment of the North African battlefield. Bring out the tracks and the road wheels with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
