Skid steer loaders are compact working machines that turn by different wheel speeds on the left and right sides. Thanks to their small dimensions and high agility they are used where large machines have no room - in engineer work, in handling material on bases, in clearing rubble or in resupply. The United States Army introduced these machines in several weight classes and completes them with interchangeable tools, from buckets to forks and loading equipment. Tracks fitted over the wheels improve mobility in soft and muddy ground and at the same time protect the tires.
Assemble the frame, the arms and the hydraulic cylinders exactly in the given order of steps - on working machines a small deviation shows in the position of the arms. Try the parts dry before fitting the tracks over the wheels. Finish the cab and the glazing, including the interior, before you close it up. Working machines take a strong finish: scuffs on the edges of the bucket and the arms, a metallic sheen in the places of contact, a wash in the hollows and plenty of dust and mud on the chassis and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
