This is not a tank kit. It is a single add-on part that replaces the bare gun mantlet on a model of the Chinese ZTQ-15 light tank with a truer imitation of the canvas cover. The manufacturer is LIANG Model, a brand focused on accessories and tools for military modelers.
On the real vehicle the gap between the gun mantlet and the turret front is closed by a canvas or rubber boot that keeps dust, water and dirt out of the fighting compartment. Plastic kits often simplify this cover, with hard edges and no fabric texture. A separately cast part has softer folds and a finer surface, so it noticeably lifts the look of the most visible spot on the turret.
The ZTQ-15, also designated Type 15, is a Chinese light tank introduced in recent years. The design emphasizes low weight and mobility in mountainous and broken terrain, where heavy tanks are hard to use. The main armament is a 105 mm gun. Several manufacturers offer kits of this type in 1:35 scale.
Wash the part first in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent so that no mold release agent is left on the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a knife, do not snap it. Sand wet and wear respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue; plastic cement does not work here. Apply a primer before painting. It is worth setting the canvas apart from the metal with a slightly different tone, then bringing out the folds with a wash and passing a dry brush over the raised edges so the texture shows.
