Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut masks in kabuki tape for a model of the Junkers Ju 88A-8 in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT grade is the highest of the New Ware BASIC, ADVANCED and EXPERT range and it is meant for modelers who want to mask over a wider reach than just the cockpit glazing itself. Kabuki tape follows rounded shapes, seals at the edge of a frame and leaves no adhesive marks when removed. The package does not contain the model, paints or glue.
The real subject
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War used in the bomber, reconnaissance and night fighter roles. The A-8 version, nicknamed Paravane, carried a frame with cable cutters on the nose and the leading edges of the wing; it was meant to protect the machine in a belt of barrage balloons. The crew cabin was continuously glazed and densely divided by frames, so masking is one of the most laborious jobs on a model. Kits of this type are available in 1:48 scale.
How to use the masks
Degrease the surface of the clear part and let it dry. Transfer the masks with tweezers, seat them and press the edges down with a rounded tool. Spray the shade of the inner frames first, then the outer camouflage. Remove them shortly after the paint is dry. Plan a more extensive set out in advance and stick it on step by step, so that you do not get lost among the individual parts.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
