Goguryeo was an early medieval Korean kingdom that built its reputation on heavy cavalry. Both rider and horse wore scale armor and we know their appearance from wall paintings in tombs of the period, so this is one of the best documented images of Far Eastern armored cavalry. The bust captures an officer of such cavalry from the chest up, that is, in the part where the helmet, the armor and the face are all visible.

Glue the parts with an adhesive suitable for the material they are made of; with figure models super glue works well, because the joint holds at once and does not dissolve the surface.
First offer the parts up dry and find the joints that will need filling; at the neck and the shoulders the seam is usually the most visible. Wash and degrease the surface and spray it with a primer, otherwise the paint will peel off a smooth material. Paint from the bottom up and leave the face for a moment when your hand is warmed up, because it is the face that decides the whole impression. Work in thin coats and build the shadows gradually; one heavy coat will lose the fine relief of the armor. Give the finished bust a coat of matte varnish so that the surface keeps a consistent reflection.
Busts in 1:10 scale are a field for a modeler who wants to show what he can do with a brush: the size allows the face and the surface of the armor to be worked out in a detail for which a figure in 1:35 scale is too small. Paints, glue and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
