Responsibility details are not available.
A figure plastic kit of Angel Fink from the American brand Atlantis. It is not a model of an aircraft or a car but a caricature character from the world of American custom car culture, made famous by the artist Ed Big Daddy Roth. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted, so the resulting character of the model is to a large degree a matter of painting.
Ed Big Daddy Roth was among the most striking figures of American custom car culture. His monstrous caricatures carried over from posters and T-shirts into plastic modeling as well and became a collecting theme of their own. Angel Fink is one of these figures; exaggerated proportions, pronounced facial expression and an overall comic-book conception are characteristic of it.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, which melts the joint, and fill the seams with filler, because on figure models the mold parting lines are obvious at first glance. Before painting, apply a base coat, ideally a light one under pronounced shades. Figure models are well served by an airbrush on the large surfaces and a brush on the details, or by a combination with oil paints for shading. Give special attention to the eyes and the teeth, because it is precisely they that decide the expression. Gloss clear varnish in selected places gives the model comic-book depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
