The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, a machine with a twin vertical tail and a nose landing gear, that is with a wheel under the nose. The B-25C version belongs to the early production forms and reached allied operators in large numbers, so very different finishes and insignia meet on this one type. The machines served in Europe, in the Mediterranean and in the Pacific, and their crews decorated them with their own names and artwork.
This is a separate decal sheet for 1:72 scale, that is an accessory for a kit. Which machines the sheet covers, which fuselage codes, insignia and lettering it carries and how many options you can build from it are given in the manufacturer's instructions included.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With an ordinary waterslide sheet, cut the marking out close to the artwork, dip it into lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it soak until the film starts to slide freely. The base should be glossy; on matte paint silvering appears under the film. Slide the marking into place, blot the excess water away with a cloth from the center toward the edges and draw it into the engraved detail with a decal softener. Lay the large insignia down accurately the first time, as moving a film that has dried will tear it.
A decal sheet is supplied. The kit, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
