An extended set of pre-cut painting masks from New Ware in kabuki film for models of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter in the A, C and G versions. The ADVANCED level means wider coverage than the basic set: besides the canopy frames and the clear parts it usually includes the wheel hubs, the position lights, the anti-glare panel in front of the cockpit and masks for setting the polished metal panels apart. It is not a model and not decals but an aid for clean and quick masking.
The F-104 Starfighter was an American supersonic fighter with an extremely thin and short trapezoidal wing, designed for high speed and rate of climb. It served with the US Air Force and with many allies and made its name as a fast interceptor and multirole machine. The A, C and G versions differed in their equipment, their armament and their role.
A degreased surface is the basis. Lift the masks off the sheet, lay them on the relevant parts and press them down. Apply the paint and the polished metal shades with an airbrush in thin coats; the masks for setting the metal panels apart allow clean transitions. Lift the masks before the finish has fully cured.
The masks are an accessory for a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
