0.5 mm Bullet-proof bolt is a set of imitation armor bolts in the 0.5 mm size. It replaces coarsely molded detail on the model and seats into pre-drilled holes.

A modeling accessory for a faithful rendering of the bolted joints on armor plate. It replaces detail that is often only suggested on the kit parts, or that disappears during sanding, and seats into a hole opened up with a pin vise. The figure 0.5 mm in the name gives the size of the part - it is the finest step in the manufacturer's range.
Let the scale of the build govern your choice of size. The 0.5 mm dimension corresponds to roughly 18 mm of real size in 1:35 scale, about 24 mm in 1:48 and some 36 mm in 1:72. This step therefore suits small joints in the larger scales and ordinary bolts in the small ones. The manufacturer also offers the larger sizes 0.7, 1, 1.2 and 1.5 mm as separate items, as well as a version with a hex head.
It suits modelers of military vehicles who are repairing or adding bolted joints on armor, and builders who need to restore detail after sanding welds down. The work is fine, so you will not manage without tweezers and a sharp knife.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the pin vise are not included in the package.
