A set of self-adhesive painting masks from HAD Models made for models of the Sukhoi Su-27P1M heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks are pre-cut into the shapes of the modern digital (pixel) camouflage scheme, which is practically impossible to do cleanly freehand with a brush or an airbrush. By applying and uncovering the individual fields step by step you reach a sharp division of the color areas. It is not a kit but an accessory for painting.
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a heavy twin-engine fighter of Soviet origin, famous for its great range and its agility. The upgraded single-seat P1M version is in service with the Ukrainian Air Force and carries a striking digital camouflage made up of small geometric fields that break up the outline of the aircraft.
Clean the surface carefully before masking and apply the base shade. Apply the masks step by step according to the plan of the scheme, press the edges down and spray thinly so that paint does not run under the edge. Work in layers from the lighter to the darker tones and peel the mask off while the paint is still fresh.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package. This is a painting aid for spraying camouflage.
