The large-format brick kit 1:12 PzKpfw VI TIGER Ausf. E from the COBI brand is a collector's edition of the heavy tank in an exceptionally large scale.

This is not an ordinary glued plastic model but a kit of plastic bricks in 1:12 scale. It belongs to the collector's line the manufacturer designates Executive Edition, and among brick kits it is one of the largest of all. The model is assembled from the kit parts according to the enclosed instructions; the parts fit into one another and are printed at the factory.
The Tiger Ausf. E was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, famous for its powerful gun and massive frontal armor. It was built in relatively small numbers, but thanks to its deployment on all the main fronts and to dimensions that stood out from the conventions of the day it became one of the best-known armored vehicles of all. The manufacturer developed the kit in cooperation with the armor museum at Saumur, where a surviving example is on display.
The turret rotates and the gun can be set in elevation, the hatches open and the interior holds the equipment of the commander's and the gunner's stations. The turret can be lifted off the hull. Under the rear cover sits a separately built engine, which can also be displayed outside the tank. The tracks run and the road wheels have working suspension, so the model will genuinely roll along a smooth surface. The package offers two sets of markings, which let you choose between the French and the German form.
The assembly proceeds by plugging bricks together; nothing is cut or sanded.
