A decal set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker DK Decals. It is not a model but a decal sheet devoted to the American 3rd Attack Group, nicknamed The Grim Reapers, in 1942. The set covers markings for several types of aircraft that the group operated at that time.
The 3rd Attack Group was an American attack unit deployed in 1942 in the area of Australia and New Guinea. It flew dive bombers and attack aircraft as well as twin-engined machines, so the set covers the varied equipment of a single unit in the early period of the war in the Pacific. The markings therefore allow a coherent collection of Grim Reapers aircraft to be built.
For modelers interested in the US Army Air Forces in the Pacific and in the history of one particular attack group, who want to build several aircraft with a common origin.
