Dual Exo Set 8, 8A Twinkle Pink and 8B Char's Pink

Dual Exo is an acrylic range from the AK interactive brand with the shades arranged into pairs marked with the letters A and B. Set number 8 brings the pair Twinkle Pink and Char's Pink together. Paints of the same names are also made individually, in the acrylic range with a satin finish, so the coat is semi-gloss and silky, with neither flat grayness nor a sharp gloss.

Both names point to pink. Light and saturated shades generally need more thin coats over a dark base, so a lighter base and patience pay off with them, otherwise an area looks uneven. A pair from the same set suits a combination of area and accents, where one tone carries the main color and the other is used for bringing out the edges and the lit places. A satin finish is at the same time practical under decals and stands up to later weathering and unification with a varnish.

Use

• An acrylic paint for plastic, resin and 3D printed parts, preferably on a degreased and primed surface.
• It is applied with a brush as well as an airbrush in several thin coats, which are left to dry.
• Light and saturated shades look more even over a lighter base.
• A pair from one set can be combined for an area and for highlights.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment sinks to the bottom when standing.
