DARK GREEN TUFTS 4MM

Dark Green Tufts 4 mm - grass tufts from AK Interactive

Dark green grass tufts 4 mm high, intended for dioramas, vignettes and figure bases. This is not a model and not a standalone object of the scene but vegetation material to be applied: the tufts are placed one by one on terrain that is already built and painted, and only they give it its cover.

Where the dark green tufts belong

A darker green reads as growth in the shade, in damper patches and at the foot of objects, where grass does not grow in full sun. Alongside lighter shades it creates a natural irregularity of color; a uniform green carpet on a model always gives away that it is a model. The height of 4 mm corresponds to medium grass: tall enough to be seen, but not so long that it overwhelms the small details of the scene.

How to apply the tufts

• Pick the tufts up one at a time with tweezers and place them irregularly, in clusters rather than in a row.
• They look most natural at the foot of walls and fences, along the edges of paths, in gaps and around stones.
• If a tuft does not hold on its own, add a drop of PVA (white) glue or thin super glue.
• Fluff the fibers up once they are glued and dust the base of the tuft with pigment so that no sharp transition appears.

Who they are for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes, for figure painters and tabletop gamers and for anyone finishing a display base under a completed model.

This is scenic material, not a kit. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
