This is a color detail set for the cockpit, not an airplane kit. The parts are 3D-printed, fully painted and supplied on decal paper: instrument panels, side consoles, levers, switches and other interior features with fine relief. The set is meant for Su-35S models in 1:48 scale and serves as a replacement for, or an addition to, the plastic and photo-etched parts of the cabin. The target kit is Kitty Hawk.
The Sukhoi Su-35S is a Russian single-seat multi-role fighter of the 4++ generation that grows out of the Su-27 family. It stands out for its powerful engine with thrust vectoring, its long range and its modern avionics. The glazed cabin with its many displays and controls is what makes an interior set worthwhile.
The parts release in water much like a decal, but once off the paper they behave more like pre-colored, pliable details. Add nothing to the water and leave out the softener; it would attack the printed resin. They are fitted onto cleaned plastic surfaces of the cabin; small elements can be fixed with a drop of super glue. It is advisable to work with tweezers and plenty of light and to try the placement beforehand.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The Kitty Hawk base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
