This set from Quinta Studio is a decal add-on to a plastic model, not a kit. The name designates it as the small version, that is the smaller variant alongside the full set of the same name. These are 3D printed and already painted decals on decal paper that replace the flat inner surfaces of the model with relief detail. The set is designed around the Trumpeter kit.
The MiG-29 is a single-seat twin-engine fighter and machines of the A version also served in several NATO air forces. In the large 1:32 scale the cockpit is a prominent feature to look at. Pre-colored 3D decals bring relief and color at once, so the modeler avoids painting tiny instruments and panels with a brush. The small version suits cases where the canopy will be closed or only slightly open and the full set would go to waste.
Prepare the surface smooth and coated with gloss varnish, otherwise a silvery edge will dry around the decal. Cut the elements out closely, soak them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and move them into place with a soft brush. Blot up the water and press the element down with a cotton bud. Do not use a decal softener or setter; their chemistry will attack the printed resin and spoil the element. Once dry, the finished interior is gone over with flat varnish.
This is an add-on to a plastic kit, which the package does not contain. The model, paints, clear coat and glue are not part of the set.
