“WAVE” KIT – THE PAINT STAND – CAPACITY 28 BOTTLES - 23 ml.

Wave – a paint stand with a capacity of 28 bottles

An organizer for the modeling bench from the brand 77propeller. According to the name it holds 28 bottles of 23 ml and is listed as a set to be assembled, so expect to put it together before first use. It is not a model kit or an accessory that would be fitted to a model. It is equipment for the workplace, that is the kind of thing a modeler comes to appreciate the moment a heap of bottles standing about the bench stops being enough.

Use

• Paints standing in a row one above another have legible labels, so you look for a shade with your eyes rather than your hands.
• The stand keeps the bottles together and reduces the risk of knocking one over while you work. Spilled paint on the bench and on a model under construction is an accident that is hard to put right.
• Put the stand on the side your brush hand reaches. Many modelers stand two side by side and divide the paints up by project or by type.
• Before assembly, lay the parts out and dry-fit them to see how they go together. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts.
• Metallics and paints with a heavy pigment still have to be shaken before use. The stand secures order, not mixing.

Who the stand is for

It suits anyone who has more than a few paints and is working out where to put them on the bench. It will be appreciated most by the modeler who works with both an airbrush and a brush and needs a running palette of shades for one project to hand. A capacity of 28 bottles is a sensible compromise between what fits on a bench and what you genuinely need at once while building.

It is equipment for the workplace, not a model kit. Paints are not included in the package.
