Cleopatra Qubeley Dark Mask Ver. is a Bandai plastic kit of a figure from the Heroes range, intended to be built without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a plastic kit of a robotic figure from the Heroes range of the maker Bandai. The Qubeley is among the well-known mobile suits of the Gundam world, and this kit offers its variant in the Dark Mask form. The manufacturer does not give a scale for it — it is a figure in a small, proportionally stylized form, not a scale model of hardware.
Bandai kits go together by snapping the parts in place, so glue is not necessary, and the parts are molded in colored plastic. The model therefore comes together quickly and can be built even without modeling equipment, which makes it a rewarding first model or a gift. Check the exact number of parts, the height of the finished model and the contents of the package on the box.
Nip the parts off a little way from the part and clean up the remains of the sprue gate with a knife or a sanding sponge — a white burr is very visible on colored plastic. Anyone who wants to go further can break the model down into sections and spray them separately, always over a primer. A panel wash into the engraved lines and extra decals do a great deal. A final matte or semi-gloss varnish unifies the surface and adds to the impression the model makes.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints, decals beyond those in the package and accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
